The Boss is pointing at you, Suzanne
Certain observers of last week’s City Council meetings reveled in the inside baseball of having a Councillor’s name as a contact on a press release sent out by the City.
The holier than thou attitude of those who used to plot politically with former City Manager Judy Rogers has little credibility on the delineation between the public service and politics. That being said, the move to include Geoff Meggs’ name on a notice regarding a technical briefing on the revisions to the Olympic bylaw could have been much better thought out.
However, lost in the meeting was an exchange between lone NPA City Councillor Suzanne Anton and Mayor Gregor Robertson.

“Perhaps it was my silk dress or the new perfume I’ve been wearing lately. When I asked Suzanne Anton what her New Year’s resolution was, she replied, “To kiss a pretty girl!” and pecked me on the cheek.” – Writer Emily Barca describing her encounter with the lone NPA City Councillor on New Year’s Eve.
