Twitter post reactions to the alleged “media hit list”; still no sign of the anonymous hierarch

Posted by Jonathan Ross

The anonymous "Vision hierarch " still has not emerged as a real person. I am anxiously awaiting this individual's story.

Do you really believe Vision Vancouver dumb enough to create a “media hit list” & shared it? I have serious doubts. A Trojan Horse story?” – Jeff Lee, Vancouver Sun – allegedly number 9

I agree with Jeff Lee on the media hit list until I see real proof. It struck me as absurd.” – Charlie Smith, Editor of the Georgia Straight – allegedly number 11

I have seen the “problem media” email. Leaker claims Mayor’s as sistant Quinlan helped create it.” – Bob Mackin, 24 Hours – allegedly number 12 (EDITOR’S NOTE: If Bob has seen an email, and is stating that the leaker is only claming that Mayor’s assistant Quinlan helped create it, then obviously the email Mackin saw did not come from Quinlan – which inserts huge suspicion into this “story”)

Hey Charlie, is this death going to help Ignatieff politically as well?

Charlie Smith is seriously putting his paper's tagline of "Vancouver's News and Entertainment Weekly" in serious doubt - on both fronts.

Charlie Smith’s follow-up attempt at humour to his post on the potential surrounding Jean Chretien’s death is once again in poor taste. He just doesn’t get it.

In fact, I am quite surprised that he didn’t examine the potential for political gain over the tragic death of Mario Lague, Michael Ignatieff’s communications director which occurred just this morning. FACT OF THE DAY

In 2010, Vancouver had fewer than half the number of murders than it had in 2009.  There were nine homicides within Vancouver’s city limits, down from 19 killings the previous year.

Quote OF THE DAY

“Perhaps it was my silk dress or the new perfume I’ve been wearing lately. When I asked Suzanne Anton what her New Year’s resolution was, she replied, “To kiss a pretty girl!” and pecked me on the cheek.”  – Writer Emily Barca describing her encounter with the lone NPA City Councillor on New Year’s Eve.
